It’s Always the Perfect Time for an Adventure

“If it scares you, it may be a good thing to try”

– Seth Godin

Contrary to most beliefs, I believe that the term “adventure” is not strictly reserved for travel. Having a great adventure can be as simple as taking a leap of faith, daring to try something new without an ounce of security of it even remotely working out. Whether it’s having the courage of embarking on a new job, a new project, a new romantic relationship, friendship or even a new hobby, I believe that it all falls under “adventure”.

Life is all about growth and progress – taking steps to move closer to our ideal life – because however great our lives already are, there’s always room for improvements. Whether we’d like to admit or not deep down we all know that the only way for us to successfully create our very best lives is to continue to do something new, something that we often see as challenging or in some cases, paralyzingly frightening. There’s simply no way around it. Growth and progress requires adventures, it requires us to push our fears aside, put our brave faces on while we step out of our comfort zones and into the unknown.

If you have been on the fence about having yourself an adventure, know that this very moment is the best time to go for it. As Paulo Coelho, a renowned Brazilian author said “One day you will wake up and there wont be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted. Do it now”.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s do more than just exist. Get out there and truly LIVE. Be brave, take risks. Courageously say “Yes!” to new and exciting adventures and start moving closer to creating the life of your dreams.

It may be far from an easy climb but you’ll inevitably find out that once you made your way up, the view from the top will certainly be more than worth it!
