“Some 80% of your life is spent working. You want to have fun at home; why shouldn’t you have fun at work?”
– Richard Branson
As one of the world’s most renowned and talked about Billionaires, there’s just something about Richard Branson that makes him so damn likable.
Though he has many qualities that are certainly admirable, I believe that there’s one characteristic that makes him truly stand out from the ridiculously over-achiever pack is his insatiable thirst for fun & adventure.
Growing up, though he suffered in school due to dyslexia, a learning disability that affects his reading comprehension, he appeared to always have a knack for entrepreneurship.
Fast forward to today, with over 80 companies under his belt ranging from space travel to telecommunications, Branson continues to confidently tackle challenges, taking risks, and successfully defying odds that are set against him.
I truly believe that success and greatness leave clues.
Though I hope to have the opportunity to pick Mr. Branson’s brilliant brain in person and share with you insights “straight from the horse’s mouth” at some point in the future, what I’d like to do now is to share with you some of his best words of wisdom.
May they provide you with the motivation and inspiration you need to keep moving forward in realizing your own dreams. Enjoy!
PS: If you’re looking for a great read on his approach to entrepreneurship, leadership, and life in general, I highly recommend you to check out one of his books, Screw It, Let’s Do It!
